The London Speaker Bureau Turkey opens for business
The London Speaker Bureau has opened an office in Turkey. Based in Istanbul, the office is managed by Ahmet Turhaner and Emre Pusat, who have many years' experience in the Turkish speaker industry and business world.

Speakers Drinks Reception
After the great success of The London Speaker Bureau Drinks Reception last October we have decided to make it an annual event. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and speak to some of our favourite speakers whilst enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the Thames. This year we will be holding the party on Wednesday 22nd September from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm at Old Billingsgate Walk, overlooking the Thames in the City. Mary Buffett, the daughter-in-law of Warren Buffett, is the author of The Buffettology Workbook and The Tao of Warren Buffett, and is an expert on his investment strategies. Sugata Mitra is Professor of Educational Technology at Newcastle University in the UK. He works in the areas of Cognitive Science, Information Science and Educational Technology. His pioneering work with slum children in India has challenged preconceptions about education and learning. Peer Steinbrueck is the former Finance Minister of Germany and served in the cabinet of Chancellor Angela Merkel. |

Sir John Gieve, the former Deputy Governor of the Bank of England, recently spoke for Incisive Media in Monaco. The theme was Investment. Sir Tim Berners-Lee, creator of the World Wide Web, spoke for T-Systems in Germany on the history of the web, challenges for the future and the importance of innovation. Dr Anil Gupta spoke for Richemont, the luxury goods group, at a management conference in the Kruger National Park in Johannesburg on future strategies for India and China.
