James Rubin
James Rubin is currently an adjunct Professor at Columbia University and a foreign policy advisor to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama. He was a member of Hillary Clinton's campaign team for the 2008 Democratic nomination.
James was formerly Assistant Secretary of State and Chief Spokesman for the State Department. He was employed in the Clinton Administration for over seven years and served as a top adviser and confidant to former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright. During his position as Chief Spokesman, James Rubin briefed the nation and world through daily sessions with journalists.
James then worked in London for Brunswick, one of the UK's major PR companies, with 30 FTSE 100 companies among its clients. At the same time he kept up his commitments as a writer and broadcaster, and as a lecturer at the London School of Economics.
