Charles Leadbeater, recently described by The Spectator as 'the new wizard of the web,' has published his latest book, We-Think (Profile Books), an examination of what happens when mass production becomes mass innovation. "Web 2.0 allows for collaboration on a previously unimaginable scale", Charlie argues, "looking at how new ways of working can unleash untapped sources of creativity. The generation growing up with the web no longer want to be spectators; they insist on participation." Already, people from California to China are devising ways of working together that are more democratic, productive and creative. We-Think predicts radical changes in the way companies and governments will operate. Management Today described We-Think as 'an unmissable guide to the key forces that will shape the 21st century.'
