Paul Coia


Paul Coia has been hosting conferences for over ten years since, as a member of the BBC's Holiday '87 team, he was invited to Athens to facilitate at the Thomas Cook world sales conference. This started a liaison that led to his fronting conferences, videos and exhibitions for Thomas Cook around the world.

Since then, Paul has facilitated at conference and sales presentations for many corporations including live satellite links across the world, award ceremonies, product launches, and much more.

Paul also runs his own communication company which helps executives to present ideas more clearly and to confidently front their video presentations.

Born in Glasgow, Paul studied at Glasgow University before joining Radio Clyde as a presenter.

He was voted Scottish Radio Personality of The Year and hosted his own weekly chat show on Scottish Television before moving to London in 1982 to open Channel Four. As head announcer, Paul's was the first voice heard on the new station.

His television career has included fronting BBC 1's Pebble Mill for three years and BBC 2's award winning Catchword quiz show for eight years. He currently presents ITV's Heaven Knows quiz every Sunday. He is recording a series for Channel Five on how we communicate, and also broadcasts for Radio Two.

As someone who has grown up with a career in live television, Paul has the ability to host any event, no matter how complicated or technical, in a relaxed, and professional manner.
